Payment details and refunds
Payment information
Registrations without payment or incomplete payments will not be considered final. Teams with outstanding balances will not be allowed to participate unless the full amount is settled before the tournament start date. Secure your spot in the tournament with our easy payment process. Below, you’ll find all the necessary details to ensure your registration is completed smoothly.
Registration fee
Each team is obligated to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $200. This fee must be submitted within 10 days of completing the registration process to secure the team’s spot.
Participation fee
A participation fee is required for all players, coaches, and managers. A deposit of 50% is due by May 15th, 2025, with the full payment to be completed by July 15th, 2025.
How to make a payment
Payments can be made online through your Accra Cup Account or via bank transfer. If you choose the bank transfer option, please include your team name and registration ID in the transfer details to ensure timely processing.

Payment deadline
All payments must be received by July 15th, 2025 to secure your team’s place in the tournament. Late payments may result in forfeiture of your spot.
Payment confirmation
Once your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details. Please keep this email as proof of payment.
Refund conditions
We understand that plans may change. If you need to cancel your registration, refunds are available until June 30th, 2025. However, please be aware that a percentage will be deducted from your refund based on the date of your cancellation request. After the deadline, no refunds will be issued.
Deposit refunds
- Deposits paid by May 15th, 2025 are non-refundable.
- In cases of emergencies or extraordinary circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the discretion of the Accra Cup Committee. Requests must be submitted in writing by June 1st, 2025.
Cancellations due to Force Majeure
If the tournament is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions), participants will be given the option to:
- Receive a full refund of participation fees (excluding the deposit).
- Roll over their participation to the next edition of the Accra Cup.
Participation fees refunds
- Full Refund: If a written cancellation request is received by May 30th, 2025, participants are eligible for a full refund of participation fees, excluding the deposit.
- 50% Refund: If a written cancellation request is received between May 31st, 2025, and June 30th, 2025, participants are eligible for a 50% refund of participation fees, excluding the deposit.
Refund process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@accracup.com.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 business days after approval of the request.
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Deregistration - no-show policy
In the event of a cancellation or no-show, the registration fee is non-refundable. Cancellations made on or after July 1, or failure to attend, will not be eligible for refunds. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including issues related to visas, transportation delays or cancellations, strikes, blockades, natural disasters, or other significant disruptions. Additionally, teams will not receive financial compensation for missed matches resulting from their own delayed arrival or the absence of other teams.
Damages - insurance
Participants are responsible for covering any damages or destruction they cause, whether on or off the field. It is the club’s responsibility to ensure that all participants are properly insured both on and off the pitch.
