Accra Cup account

Each registered team has access to its own team page on the Accra Cup Account. On this page, you can update your registration, place orders, complete the participant list, make payments, and view your balance. Please ensure that your team meets all deadlines for submitting information, placing orders, and other related tasks. Visit your Accra Cup account here.

Who may participate?

All clubs, including those part of a FIFA-affiliated national association, are invited to participate in the Accra Cup. In nations where schools organize football, we also accept teams associated with their school football associations.

The tournament starts with a group stage, where teams are placed in groups of four and play each other once. The top two teams from each group advance to a play-off. The tournament follows the rules set by FIFA or the Ghana Football Association.

Total teams participating in the tournament

All teams are invited to join the tournament and be a part of this exciting event. However, due to limited spots, priority will be given to teams that complete their registration and submit the registration fee. The date we receive the payment will determine the official registration date.

When does registration begin?

Registration for Accra Cup 2025 begins on September 30th, 2024.

What is the final date to register?

The deadline for registration is April 15th, 2025. Please note that teams will be given priority based on the order of their registration and fee payment when we reach the maximum number of teams in each category (B14, B15, and G15).

Transfer

Round-trip transfer between the airport and your accommodation is included in your payment. Family and friends who have registered as guests for the tournament will also receive full transportation services. However, please note that the transfer service is exclusively reserved for teams and does not extend to accompanying family members or friends who are not registered guests.

Special food

We can accommodate special food needs or allergies upon request. If you would like to order vegetarian meals, please be aware that there will be an additional cost per person. Additionally, please note that we do not serve any dishes containing nuts (including peanuts, almonds, and sesame).

Check in online

All teams must complete the check-in process online through their Accra Cup account before arriving at the tournament. If you are unable to check in online, please ensure you contact Accra Cup before July 30th, 2025.

Hotel bookings for families and friends

Hotel bookings for families and friends can be arranged separately from the team accommodations. Please contact us for availability and reservations.

Age control

All Accra Cup participants must undergo an age verification process to ensure eligibility for their registered age category. This procedure is essential to confirm that each participant meets the age requirements for their division. For more details about the age control, please read more here.

Important dates

  • September 30th, 2024: Registration opens.
  • May 15th, 2025: Deadline for paying the deposit.
  • April 15th, 2025: Deadline for registration
  • July 15th, 2025: Deadline for Participation Fees.
  • July 30th, 2025: Final day for online check-in.
  • August 2nd, 2025: Arrival day; no matches are scheduled.
  • August 3rd, 2025: Matches begin with the opening ceremony.
  • August 9th, 2025: Finals and departure day.

Prizes

Teams reaching the finals will have each player awarded a medal, and the team will receive a specially designed Accra Cup trophy. The two teams that do not advance from the playoff semifinals will be presented with a third-place trophy and bronze medals. Additionally, individual awards such as Player of the Tournament, Fair Play, Top Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper will be presented in each category to recognize outstanding performances.

Payments

The registration fee must be paid within ten days of submitting your online registration. Once we receive your payment, we will confirm your registration. Accommodation costs and/or participation fees must be paid by July 15th. If payment is not received within five days after this deadline,  Accra Cup reserves the right to cancel your registration without a refund of the registration fee. Cancellation

We reserve the right to reassign teams to alternative accommodations during the tournament if necessary. In cases of severe misconduct, such as a criminal offense or repeated rule violations, a participant may be dismissed from Accra Cup accommodation. For teams booked through Accra Cup, the designated team manager is responsible for ensuring the team’s compliance with all guidelines and maintaining proper conduct throughout the event.

Insurance

In the event of a tournament cancellation due to force majeure—such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances—Accra Cup and its organizers will not be held liable for any associated costs or damages. Teams and participants should be aware of this possibility and understand that refunds or compensation may not be available in these cases.
